Retreat & Booking Policies

Here you will find all you need to know about bookings, cancellations & refunds.

​One to one sessions (face to face or online). 

These include readings, soul sessions, guidance, healing and massage.

Cancellations within 24 hours cannot be refunded.

Cancellations prior to the 24 hour period will be issued minus the £1.50 booking fee.

If you are up to 15 minutes late, this will be taken from your session time - we are unable to lengthen sessions

If you are over 15 minutes late, the session may have to be cancelled - payments cannot be refunded.

Workshops, events and classes.

Cancellations within 72 hours cannot be refunded

Cancellations prior to the 72 hour period will be issued minus the £1.50 booking fee.

Accredited Courses

Deposits are non-refundable
Cancelled places can only be refunded (minus deposit) up to 14 days prior to course start date
Please note if you are unable to attend we cannot transfer your place to another course date.

Retreats

All persons wishing to make a booking have carefully read and understand the Terms and Conditions that follow. By making a booking with Talking Spirit, you accept on behalf of yourself and all those named on the booking, to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. A booking is accepted and becomes definite only from the date when Talking Spirit sends a confirmation email, and when you have completed the deposit payment.

1.Deposits

For all advertised retreats and dates, a non-refundable deposit per person is required to complete your booking.

You may book a retreat with a deposit . The remaining balance of your retreat payment is outlined in your booking confirmation email.

If the final balance is not received by the due date, then your booking cannot be guaranteed and Talking Spirit reserves the right to cancel your booking and forfeit your deposit.

*Please note deposits made on all bookings are non-refundable and non-creditable due to the requirement to purchase non-refundable and non-transferable essentials including but not limited to; accommodation reservations etc on your behalf to secure your spot on the retreat.

2. Cancellations

If you cancel 6 months prior to the retreat, we will need to keep 50% of the total amount paid by yourself to date.  

If you have to cancel 3 months before the retreat,  we will need to keep 100% of the total amount paid by yourself to date, unless you can find someone to take your place. This is due to the requirements of the retreat venue and our commitments to making payment to them.

Talking Spirit reserves the right to cancel any retreat for any reason, but will not cancel a retreat less than 30 days before the retreat start date except for unusual or unforeseen circumstances outside our control. When a retreat is cancelled by Talking Spirit before the agreed date of departure for any reason other than the fault of the Client, the Client can either:

Transfer their deposit to another retreat taking place, or:

Receive a full refund of all monies paid under the contract as soon as possible.

3.Claims & Complaints

If a Client has a complaint against Talking Spirit, the Client must first inform the Retreat Leader at the earliest opportunity whilst on the retreat to allow the grievance to be rectified. 

 

4.Refunds are made at the discretion of Talking Spirit.

Fees apart from the deposit can be refunded in special circumstances including:

  • Serious injury or illness of the client

  • Serious injury or illness of close family member

In the case of a natural disaster, Talking Spirit applies to the “act of god” rule and no fees will be reversed.
